Practical support for foster children and the families who care for them—right when it’s needed most.

Our Mission

Supporting foster children and the families who care for them.

Love In Deed provides clothing, shoes, and everyday essentials for children in foster care—at no cost to the families caring for them.

We exist to meet practical needs in real moments,
helping children feel cared for and families feel supported.

Our Vision

We believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for—no matter the circumstances that brought them into foster care.

And we believe foster families shouldn’t have to navigate those early moments alone.

As a community, we can come alongside both—offering support that helps create stability, dignity, and a sense of normalcy from the very beginning.

How We Help

When a child comes into foster care, it often happens quickly—with little time to prepare.

We help bridge that gap by providing essential items right away—so families can focus on what matters most: caring for the child in front of them.

Be part of the support

Every child deserves to feel safe, cared for, and seen—especially in moments of transition.

Whether you give, volunteer, or donate items,
you’re helping meet real needs for foster families
right here in our community.

Together, we can support children and the families who care for them—every step of the way.

Our Story

Not sure where to start? We’ll help you find the best fit.

Love In Deed was started in 2015 by two foster and adoptive families who experienced firsthand the gaps that can exist in those first days of placement.

What began as a simple way to help has grown into a community effort—made up of foster families, volunteers, and supporters who care deeply about children and the people connected to their story.

We remain a volunteer-led organization, built on relationships and a shared desire to show up in practical, meaningful ways.
